Al Vance is an active member of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). VADR has subject matter expertise in employment-related matters, labor disputes, product liability, professional liability, and personal injury matters. VADR is available for both AAA and private arbitrations.
VADR acts as an independent, neutral decision-maker focusing on the arbitration agreement, and the convenience, flexibility, and needs of the parties.
Both arbitration pre-hearing and hearing procedures are tailored to suit the needs of a particular case.

Discovery is designed to be less burdensome than litigation.
Unless dictated by the arbitration agreement or agreed upon by the parties, traditional rules of evidence governing court trials are generally not followed in arbitration hearings.
Generally, there is no automatic right to appeal an arbitration award. Under federal and state laws, there are only a few ways to challenge an arbitrator's award.
